The dive site of the Blue Hole in dahab!

This is a drawing made by Maria Radoslavova, first Bulgarian female Technical diver that completed her courses with us at fantaseatec a few month ago. Thank you very much for this nice drawing Maria, next one will be the Canyon :-)))))

The Mares Ruby!

Well as you can see on this picture, this is the ruby of my Mares first stage...I was doing a dive at 70 meters when it failed...regulator went free flowing and I could abort the dive without problems. It is supposed to be one of the best regulators in the world, for his resistance, I received some really stupid answers regarding this problem from Mares, here you will find one of there letters: The poppet seat was dirty... I should make a revision with a professional (what he did not know is that I am also a Mares Technician regulator service agent) I have been droping a key on the Ruby while I was doing the maintenance... and so on. Hey guys you are really unprofessional you know...and what was you solution is to change my Mares ruby into a conventional Mares MR22 which will cost me 13 euro! cool guys I paid this regulator 850 CHF and now I have one that cost 600 CHF franks and thats only what you could give me as a solution...you did not even worry about what could have been happe...

A new Canyon in Dahab " the 3 Valley Canyon"

Those are the pictures of the new Canyon discovered and explored on the 28th of March 2009 at Rick's Reef . Mohamed Fahmy, Samah Sokar and myself explored today the full length of the Canyon. Enter Rick's reef, take a 90 degrees on your compass North North east, follow slowly the slope down until you find 3 Coral pillars at 32 meters (8 minutes to reach them), look at you right and that's where the Valley starts, total bottom time is 22 minutes and you will reach the end of the Canyon at minute 21, depth is between 38 meters and 46 meters, at half way you have Maria's Mountain that is going to 53 meters depth and well there is something behind that....but that's for another exploration dive :-)
